To Much Temptation?

I've been watching for the past week now Temptation Island 2 The actual outline of Temptation Island 2 is as follows. Four couples separate on a remote exotic island, into two resorts. A women’s resort and a men’s resort. In each resort, exist 13 "sexy singles" of the opposite sex who are trying to break up the couples. The couples cannot communicate with each other, and through a series of dates, they basically get to choose the guy/girl they want. Total infidelity.

On this series of Temptation Island we have the four couples Edmundo and Catherine. This couple was destined to be destroyed from the beginning. Catherine is on the island to "really see if her feelings for Edmundo are true," and Edmundo is always talking about how he’s "keeping an open mind and looking forward to being single." Shannon and John, a very strong couple, Nikole and Tommy, kinda a strange couple and Genevieve and Tony. Although after just about a week Genevieve decided she knew what she wanted asked Tony to marry her and then they both left the Island so we now have a new couple, enter Mark and Kelley.

So far during this series we have had touching, massages, playing kissing sleeping together and now we have Edmundo and single girl Hillary in the bathroom with Edmundo naked and some very telling squeals and moans!!

Why would anyone want to put themselves and the person to whom they are supposed to be in love with through this televised experience? For love? To test the strength of their relationship? To prove that the one they are with is the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with? Or 15 mins of fame? I could understand someone going onto this program who wasn't truly in love with their partner for the fame side of it but from what I have watched that really isn't the case in quiet a few of these couples lives, the devastation and total uncontrollable jealousy I have seen portrayed by the couples when they catch a video clip of their respective partners in intimate moments with another person only goes to prove to me that no matter how entertaining to watch this really isn't the sort of thing that prime time TV should be about.

I will however continue to watch Temptation Island 2 as it has got me hooked, but I must admit to have a slight uncomfortable feeling whilst watching.

I’ve signed up Normsk and myself for the UK version  ( only kidding )
